Hi, I'm Alison! I began my journey in mental health over 12 years ago after earning my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Oregon State University. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across a wide range of settings — from nonprofit organizations serving people experiencing homelessness, to school-based support, to inpatient psychiatric care. After completing my Master’s in Counseling, I continued this path through both agency work and private practice, where I now provide individual psychotherapy for teens, young adults, and adults.
On a personal note, I’m a nature lover at heart. I enjoy loose leaf tea and herbs, tending to plants, and being around animals of all kinds. Originally from Oregon, I’ve also lived in Australia and New Zealand, and have called beautiful Boise, Idaho home for over eight years — a happy accident that turned into a meaningful chapter in my life.
Therapy is not just my profession, but my passion. I deeply believe in the healing potential of this work and feel honored to walk alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges. My approach integrates daily self-care, nourishment, and the mind-body connection. I’m especially passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves, heal from past wounds, and create space for a life filled with purpose, joy, and meaning.
